A school rooted in Spain, with an international outlook.

PROM International Business School brings together technical professional training, language preparation and university specialization in Cuenca. Here we explain who we are, where we are and who stands behind each qualification, so you can check everything before you decide.

Who we are

A friendly school with its feet on the ground.

PROM International Business School is a professional training school for international students who want to train and start their career in Spain. We were born in Cuenca, and our school is here.

We know what it means to arrive in a new country: the paperwork, the housing, the language, being far from your family. That is why one programme brings together your training, a company placement and everyday support, with a team that knows your name and your story.

We would rather promise little and deliver all of it. We explain clearly what each programme includes, what depends on us and what depends on others, such as the consulate’s decision on your visa.

What drives us

Mission, vision and values

What we believe: our role is to support international students in their plans to train and grow in Spain, offering quality education and all-round support that makes their arrival, adaptation and personal and professional development easier. We want every student to feel listened to, guided and backed at every stage, and to use their time in Europe to build their skills, gain independence and create a future with more opportunities.

Our vision: to become a leading choice in Spain for international students, recognized for the quality of our training, the personal support of our team and the difference we make to our students’ progress. From our roots in Cuenca, we hope to take our model to other cities such as Albacete and Murcia, keeping the same personal attention and building links between students, companies and local communities.

What guides us every day

  1. Closeness and respect

Every student has their own story, needs and hopes. We listen and treat people in a human, respectful and personal way.

  2. Care in every detail

We look after the training and the services around it. Quality should be felt in the classroom, in the information we give and in how we respond to what you need.

  3. Support and commitment

We are involved throughout: preparing documents, arrival, finding accommodation, settling into the city and academic and career guidance.

  4. Transparency and trust

We explain services, costs, requirements and the real possibilities of each pathway clearly. We build relationships on honest information and promises we can keep.

  5. Growth and independence

We help each student develop their abilities, take on new challenges and make informed decisions about their future.

  6. Diversity and integration

We value living alongside people from different cultures. We encourage mutual respect, cultural exchange and taking part in local life.

  7. Connection with working life

We seek partnerships with companies that bring training closer to practice and open up more professional opportunities for our students.

Student experience

Much more than studying in Spain.

Studying abroad also means learning to live somewhere new. So we support you outside the classroom too, in practical and personal matters, so you can focus on your training knowing there is always someone to turn to.

  1. Arrival and welcome

We pick you up at Cuenca station: someone from the PROM team is waiting for you when you step off the train.

  2. Accommodation

We help you find accommodation that suits you, through our agreements with estate agencies, residences and hotels.

  3. Paperwork

Guidance with your foreigner identity card, Social Security registration and local registration.

  4. Welcome kit

On arrival you receive the programme handbooks and a student guide to the city.

  5. Support in 5 languages

Spanish, English, Russian, French and Ukrainian.

  6. Cultural trips and leisure

During the year the school organizes trips to Spain’s main cities so you can get to know the country with your group.

  7. Regular updates for your family

You can agree with your tutor how to keep your family informed about your progress and how you are settling in, respecting your privacy.

PROM IBS

Who stands behind each qualification

Each organization has a specific role. We explain it so you know exactly which qualification each one issues. PROM IBS is not a university and does not award university degrees.

Accredited centre 16/00026903

Formación Futuras Promesas S.L. (F2Prom) is the accredited centre that delivers the in-person Level 3 training: COMT0210, COML0309 and HOTA0308. The Professional Certificate is issued by Spain’s Ministry of Education, Vocational Training and Sports, in collaboration with SEPE.

You can check it yourself with our official codes: centre code 16/00026903 and education authority code M160002663G. If you need documents to verify it, just ask us.

Professional Spanish and university specialization

Two further components complement the official vocational certificate: a professional Spanish course taught at an Instituto Cervantes partner centre and adapted to your starting point (beginner levels A1/A2 for non-Spanish speakers), and a university specialization course in your sector (a 4 ECTS microcredential).

When you complete all three qualifications and your placement, you also receive PROM International Business School’s own Expert award, separate from the official vocational certificate.

Royal European Academy of Doctors (RAED)

The Royal European Academy of Doctors (RAED) is an academic institution associated with the Instituto de España. It scientifically endorses the full PROM IBS programme.

Its endorsement does not replace the issuing or official recognition of each qualification. PROM IBS offers professional training and specialization; it is not a university and does not offer university degrees.
